In case you didn’t know, iconic singer Celine Dion tends to keep a tight lid on her personal life. She rarely answers questions about her children, twin sons Nelson and Eddy Dion, and almost never posts pictures of them online. With so much of her life on display all the time, it makes sense that Celine wants to keep a part of her life to herself. So, it truly surprised fans when she posted a picture of herself and her two sons for Spirit Day, a holiday meant to bring awareness to the bullying the LGBT community faces.
In the photo, Celine sits between her two boys, arms around each of them, hugging them close. All three also sport headbands that read Spirit Day in purple writing. “Today we’re going purple in solidarity with @glaad #SpiritDay!” she captioned the long-awaited update. “I encourage all of you to join us and take a stand against anti-LGBTQ bullying. Well-Awaited Update
Fans not only loved that Celine Dion shared an update on her sons, but that she also showed support to the LGBT community. “You are amazing! Thank you dear Celine,” one user said. “Your support and your family means a lot,” another added, with many commenting hearts and rainbows to showcase their love. It’s been over a year since the singer last posted a picture of Nelson and Eddy, so fans absolutely adored seeing how they had grown.
Meanwhile, the picture of her sons is not the only post Celine has had go viral recently. The 52-year-old also managed to wow fans with a makeup-free photo of herself on a hike. It’s hard to believe that Celine has been rocking the pop scene for over four decades now! “In challenging times it’s even more important to reflect on everything that we are thankful for. I hope you find moments of peace, happiness, and love, today and every day,” she captioned the cosmetic free photo.
“You deserve every single second of these moments. It’s clear to see that the past few months have brought so much healing and quiet contemplation to your soul and I’m so completely over the moon for you.
