Going to theme parks should always be a fun experience. No one expects to come face to face with a python while on one of the rides. However, one woman nearly tumbled into a snake while on a theme park slide!
Fun Ride At Theme Park
If Nancy (@wonderfulstuff0 on TikTok) had not posted the video online, few would have believed her story. Like many others on vacation, she and some friends decided to visit Toboggan Hill Park in Australia’s New South Wales state. One of the best Toboggan parks in Australia, Nancy knew she needed to film the toboggan ride. However, while sliding down the slide, she quickly realized there was another guest in her way. But it was not another human who slowed down too much. Instead, a real-life python seemed waiting and ready to strike! Although Nancy felt extremely terrified at that moment, she could do nothing but continue to slide down the ride. The woman went face-to-face the snake as she tried to skirt around the creature. Thankfully, she managed to escape unharmed!
Of course, Nancy could not let the video go to waste and she quickly posted the video to TikTok. “It’s horrible to meet a snake when you have no way to pass!” she captioned it. Over 77,000 people have seen the video now, and most of them agreed with Nancy – the experience was downright terrifying, even in video.

“Ohhhhhh NO thankyou. one big snake sun baking !” one of the commenters wrote. “Holy cow. I’d be c******g myself wondering what gunna when u get closer and what do u do,” another TikTok user added. Thankfully, once the employees learned about the sudden danger, they “went down with a wheelie bin and just put em in that.”
Thankfully, as many native Australians noted, the python would probably not have hurt Nancy or the other park visitors that day. You see, they are not venomous and they can only do harm to humans by biting them. While the deep bite certainly would have hurt Nancy, it’s unlikely the snake would have tried to attack, as she’s a little too big for a python meal. Of course, many other comments quickly pointed out that there’s no way the young woman could have known the type of snake she was sliding towards. “Everyone in the comments like ‘It’s only a python,’ what if it wasn’t Joe??” one of the users asked.
All in all, it seems that everything worked out as best as it could have. And while Nancy sure felt shaken up, she now has an incredible vacation story – and the video evidence to back it up!
